Fritia - Sparkdrive

If you don't have her yet but want to try her out, Sparkdrive will be available as a Trial Operative in Story Chapter SP9 "Winds of Warmth" (Main Story // Journey // Ulster)

Sparkdrive offers an easy-to-use operative with long range and decent single-target and AoE capabilities, and the ability to easily swap between them.
Sparkdrive also has very high DEFence, allowing her to soak up a surprisingly high amount of damage, especially if given some healing.
Sparkdrives main limitation her weak in-combat mobility that can mean that it is difficult for her to avoid enemy attacks and AoEs.

How to use Fritia - Sparkdrive

Single-target DPS:

Tap her Standard Skill to deal damage to the enemy
Then do it a second time.
Click the fire button to use a more powerful version of that skill
This gives 1 her 1 Spark for her Ultimate.
(This is the cylinder in the centre of the screen.)
Repeat steps 1-2 until her cylinder is full.
When her Spark cylinder is full, hold her Ult to equip a launcher, then hold down the fire button to fire the Sparks.

Repeat.

Against groups:

Tap her Ultimate Skill to deal AoE damage in front of her
Then do it a second time.
Click the fire button to use a more powerful version of that skill
This gives 1 her 1 Spark for her Ultimate.
(This is the cylinder in the centre of the screen.)
Repeat steps 1-2 until her cylinder is full.
When her Spark cylinder is full, hold her Ult to equip a launcher, then hold down the fire button to fire the Sparks.

Passive Effect

Using Sparkdrive's Ultimate Skill counts as a Standard Skill use, and its damage also counts as Standard Skill damage.
This means that Sparkdrive is literally incapable of dealing any Ultimate Skill damage or ever "using her Ultimate Skill", as it always counts as Standard Skill damage/uses instead.

Standard Skill

Tapping Sparkdrive's Standard Skill throws 2 drive in front of her, dealing single-target Electric-damage.
Tapping Sparkdrive's Ultimate Skill throws a trap in front of her, dealing AoE (3-target) Electric-damage.

After using a skill twice an additional "Ionic Impact" effect becomes available, and can be activated by using the fire button:
Using her Standard Skill twice in a row: Sparkdrive throws an energy sphere in front of her that deals PBAoE Electric-damage to up to 5 targets for 3s.
This deals damage every 0.15s, and can thus can deal damage 20 times.
This also gives Sparkdrive one Negative Spark, which is used for her Ultimate.
Using her Ultimate Skill twice in a row: Sparkdrive creates an AOE in front of her that deals AoE Electric-damage to up to 3 targets for 2s.
This deals damage every 0.25s, and can thus can deal damage 8 times.
This also gives Sparkdrive one Positive Spark, which is used for her Ultimate.
Using one of each: Sparkdrive fires a beam in front of her, dealing strong Electric-damage to up to 2 targets.
This also gives Sparkdrive one Neutral Spark, which is used for her Ultimate.

As per her Deiwos' passive effect above, all of this counts as Standard Skill damage - none of it counts as Ultimate Skill damage.

With her Standard Skills Neuronic effects, using her Standard Skill twice in a row throws out four cubes instead of 2, doubling damage, and using her Ultimate Skill twice in a row throws out three traps instead of one, tripling damage.

Note that Ionic Impact effects are triggered by clicking the fire button, but they do not count as a shot - they count as skill damage only.

Ultimate Skill

When Sparkdrive has at least 6 sparks (or 3 with her Neuronic) in total (any combination of Positive, Negative, or Neutral is fine) she can hold her Ultimate to pull out a big launcher and then hold down the fire button to fire the sparks from it, dealing their respective effects.

Sparkdrive gets a significant ATK boost while using the launcher, and with her second Neuronic she also gains a 50% damage reduction effect whilst firing the launcher.

As per her Deiwos' passive effect above, all of this counts as Standard Skill damage - none of it counts as Ultimate Skill damage.

Note that her Sparks are fired in FIFI order, which is relevant for her 5* weapon.

Support Skill

Fritia creates a PBAoE that deals Thermal and Electrical damage for 8s. Each hit can damage up to 3 enemies.
The 20s cooldown means that the dps of this skill is low, and Sparkdrive is not a good support.

Weapon

Sparkdrive wants an Electric-damage pistol. Good weapon choices for her are:

Magnetic Flow
+18-30% Electrical DMG.
After using her Ult, Sparkdrive keeps the last Spark she uses.
This means that after using her Ult one, Sparkdrive will always have at least 1 Spark, which is very good.
Note that Sparks are using in FIFO order, not FILO, so getting the wrong Spark once won't jeapardize Sparkdrive for the remainder of the mission.
This gives Sparkdrive an extra Spark after triggering an Ionic Impact, with the gained Spark being the most recent
Sparkdrive also gets a huge +80% Standard Skill DMG for 3s after using her Standard Skill.
Remember that both her Standard Skill and her Ultimate both count as a Standard Skill, so this is basically a permanent effect.
Whilst that +80% DMG bonus is in effect, using her Standard Skill again will refresh its duration and cause enemies to take 20% more Skill DMG from Sparkdrive.
As usual for 5* weapons, the "enemies take more damage" part is extremely strong, however the next two parts are also extremely strong.
Getting to keep a Spark after she ults means that Sparkdrive can ult more often, increasing her damage.
+80% Standard Skill damage is huge, and it affects all of her damage.

Note that the T2 version of Magnetic Flow doesn't seem to increase the +80% Skill Damage buff or the 20% more Skill DMG taken debuff. I suspect this is a bug, but it might not be.
Not affecting these two buffs mean that Magnetic Flow performs extremely similarly between T1 and T2, to the point that there is very little point upgrading the weapon to T2.

Magnetic Flow is Sparkdrive's best weapon by a vast margin.
If you don't have Magnetic Flow, then Sparkdrive's next best weapon is Pure Verdure, which is the signature 4* weapon of Vidya - Agave.
Pure Verdure gives a stacking Skill DMG bonus each time the equipping operative deals Skill damage to the same target, which Sparkdrive will almost certainly do.
Pure Verdure's Skill DMG buffs are cleared if the weapon is actually fired, but as a pure Skill-DMG operative Sparkdrive should ideally never fire, so that's not an issue.
Again, using an Ionic IMpact effect is triggered by clicking the fire button, but it doesn't count as a shot, and hence doesn't remove Pure Verdure's buffs.

If you don't have either Magnetic Flow or Pure Verdure, then use whatever pistol you have that's the highest level or gives the highest ATK.

For Weapon Parts Sparkdrive wants ATK.
Note that since Sparkdrive is a Skill-DMG operative who never fires her gun, getting the +1 Ammo Capacity from the Bold Type Magazine isn't useful, and can be skipped.

Logistics

Squad

Use Singularity squad, as it's her signature and best squad.

Singularity gives her a stacking bonus each time she gets a Spark
1 stack: +20% ATK
3 stacks: +30% Standard Skill DMG (again, all of her damage is Standard Skill damage)
6 stacks: +10% Damage and healing of off-field operatives by 10%.
These last 5s, but getting a new Spark resets their duration, so they're essentially permanent effects.

If you don't have Singularity, then until she can get Singularity squad you will want to give Sparkdrive either:

Twilight squad, which reduces the enemies Resistance by 16% for 5 seconds after damaging them with an Active Skill or Aux Unit.
Since all of Fritia's damage comes from Active Skills, she can maintain this permanently.
Twilight's 2-piece bonus is +24% Skill DMG, which is very good for Sparkdrive.
Mingyi squad, which gives +1% ATK for 3s every time they deal Electrical-damage, with all stacks refreshing in duration after getting a new stack.
Provided Sparkdrive doesn't get interrupted, this is basically a permanent effect in combat, and is pretty strong.
Mingyi's 2-piece effect is +Ballistic damage, which doesn't affect Sparkdrive, so Mingyi isn't as good as Twilight overall.

Twilight is better than Mingyi, although Mingyi is still decent. Neither are as good as Singularity though.

Stats

For stats Sparkdrive wants

For the Special talent, Sparkdrive wants +8.5% Electrical Damage

ATk to boost her damage.
Electrical Damage to boost her damage.
Alignment Index translates to extra Standard Skill DMG.
A max-roll of +106 Alignment Index gives +5.3% Standard Skill DMG.

Skills can't crit, so crit mods are useless for Sparkdrive.
Sparkdrive can't heal or create shields.
Sparkdrive doesn't and can't use S-Energy or U-Energy, so S-Energy and U-Energy Regen mods are useless to her.

Sparkdrive thus doesn't really have any cope stats.

Auctus Drive

With A1, after Sparkdrive uses her Ult, her skills ignores 10% of the enemies DEF for 5s.
This basically means that her Spark shots from her Ult cannon ignore 10% of the enemies DEF.
This won't affect the damage from her regular [non-ult-cannon] Sparks, so it's not a major damage boost on-average.
It's an ok damage boost, but nothing special or even significant.
With A2, the Ionic Impact skill from her Standard Skill increases the Skill DMG the enemy takes by 12% for 4s.
This is a very nice damage boost, but it doesn't affect the Sparks created from tapping her Ultimate Skill, so this is a single-target damage boost only.
With A3, the Ionic Impact skill from her Ultimate Skill deals PBAoE Electrical damage around Fritia and knocks them into the air, and then deals 9 more instances of Electric dmg.
This is a massive damage boost, but it doesn't affect the Sparks created from tapping her Standard Skill, so this is a multi-target damage boost only.
With A4, each time Sparkdrive gains a Spark, she gets +5% Skill DMG for 5s, up to +30%.
This is a very nice damage bonus, and if played optimally, it's basically a permanent effect.

As an Auctus Drive operative, you'll likely have either all of Sparkdrive's Auctus Drives, or none of them.

Sparkdrive's Auctus Drives increase her damage by a notable amount, but that's all - they don't change how she is played or give her any QoL effects.

Good Supports for Sparkdrive

Sparkdrive wants ATK, Electrical, and Skill Damage buffs, as well as to debuff the enemies Electrical Resistance and DEF.
As such, good supports for her are:

Vidya - Celestial Swan
Vidya massive reduces the enemies DEF and Resistance, and buffs the teams damage a little too.
Vidya only debuffs the damage resistance of the damage type the enemy has most recently received.
As such, if using Celestial Swan, then make sure the other non-Vidya support isn't off-element to Fritia.
(i.e. They either deal Electric damage or do not deal damage at all).
Siris - Freefin
Freefin provides strong Skill Damage buffs that buff all of Sparkdrive's damage, making Freefin a great support for Sparkdrive.

Sparkdrive's best supports are Vidya - Celestial Swan and Siris - Freefin.
If you don't have Celestial Swan, then Sparkdrive's best supports are Siris - Freefin and Marian - Aquila.

If you don't have Celestial Swan or Freefin, then these supports work very well with Sparkdrive:

Marian - Aquila
Aquila provides very strong generic damage buffs, which makes her an excellent support.
Aquila is off-element to Sparkdrive (Aquila constantly deals Kinetic damage).
Marian - Riptide
Riptide can provide good Skill Damage buffs, as well as some decent Chaos Skill Damage of her own.
Riptide is off-element to Sparkdrive (Riptide deals Chaos damage).
Both Sparkdrive and Riptide deal damage infrequently enough that Riptide being off-element isn't an issue in practice.

Other supports that work decently well with Sparkdrive include:

Eatchel - The Cub
A Blitzing Fangs M1 Eatchel provides healing as well as a decent ATK buff.
Not the strongest support, but still good.
Sparkdrive having very low mobility means that she appreciates the healing that Eatchel provides.
Acacia - Kaguya
Kaguya is a good resistance debuffer - not nearly as strong as Vidya - Celestial Swan, but if you aren't using Vidya then Kaguya can be used as a much weaker substitute.
Kaguya deals Frost damage.
Chenxing - The Observer
Sparkdrive is a very static operative, so it's easy for her to stay in the PBAoE radius of Chenxing's drop pod for the Skill DMG buffs.
