Fritia - Sparkdrive

Whilst she's not currently available to test as a Trial Operative, if you don't have her yet but want to try her out, Sparkdrive should become available as a Trial Operative in Story Chapter SP9 "Winds of Warmth" (Main Story // Journey // Ulster) at some point, likely when v3.8 is released, replacing Fritia - Turbo in those missions.

Sparkdrive offers an easy-to-use operative with long range and decent single-target and AoE capabilities, and the ability to easily swap between them.

Sparkdrives main limitation is her weak in-combat mobility that can mean that it is difficult for her to avoid enemy attacks and AoEs.
She also can't dodge whilst using her ult, and has to finish casting her normal skills before she can dodge, and her inability to dodge on-command can give her among the lowest survivability of any operative.

How to use Fritia - Sparkdrive

1. Tap her Standard Skill to fire two projectiles an the enemy
  or
  Tap her Ultimate Skill to deal AoE damage in a small area in front of Fritia
2. Do step 1 again. You can use a different skill this time if you wish - they don't need to be the same.
3. Click fire to use a Spark.
  The combination of which skills you used in steps 1 and 2 determines which Spark she will use:
  Standard+Standard: Fires an AoEDoT orb that deals damage in a small radius and pulls in enemies.
  Ultimate+Ultimate: Creates a very large AoEDoT area for Strong AoE damage.
  One of each (either order): Fires a hitscan beam for high single-target dps.
  A copy of this Spark is also added to the cylinder in the centre of the screen.
  
  Against single-targets; use the beam (With her Auctus Drives, the Ult+Ult AoE is very nearly as good).
  Against groups; use the Ult+Ult AoE.
  Never use the Standard+Standard AoEDoT orb - it's very weak.
  If you are ever unsure which to use, then use her Ult+Ult AoE attack.
4. Repeat the previous steps until her Spark cylinder is full, then:
  Hold her Ult to equip a launcher.
  Hold down the fire button to fire all the Sparks in the cylinder.
  The launcher is automatically unequipped when the cylinder is empty.

Repeat.

If you have the second Neuronic for her ultimate skill, then you can use her ult cannon when you have at least 3 Sparks, instead of exactly 6 Sparks.
If you have her 5* weapon (Magnetic Flow) you can use her ult cannon with 5 Sparks in the cylinder for only a small loss of damage - 6 Sparks is always the best and deals the most dps, but 5 is only a small loss.
If you don't have her 5* weapon, then always use her ult cannon when the cylinder has 6 Sparks in it, never less than 6

Passive Effect

Using Sparkdrive's Ultimate Skill counts as a Standard Skill use, and its damage also counts as Standard Skill damage.
This means that Sparkdrive is literally incapable of dealing any Ultimate Skill damage or ever "using her Ultimate Skill", as it always counts as Standard Skill damage/uses instead.

Standard Skill and Ultimate skill Sparks

Tapping Sparkdrive's Standard Skill throws 2 projectiles in front of her, dealing single-target Electric-damage.
Tapping Sparkdrive's Ultimate Skill throws a small trap in front of her, dealing AoE (3-target) Electric-damage 4 times.
(The skill description says "multiple times", but it's always 4 times.)

After using a skill twice, an additional "Ionic Impact" effect becomes available, and can be activated by using the fire button:
Using her Standard Skill twice in a row: Sparkdrive throws an energy sphere in front of her that deals PBAoE Electric-damage to up to 5 targets for 3s.
This deals damage every 0.15s, and can thus can deal damage 20 times.
This also adds one Negative Spark to her Cylinder, which is used for her Ultimate cannon.
Using her Ultimate Skill twice in a row: Sparkdrive creates an AoE in front of her that deals AoE Electric-damage to up to 3 targets for 2s.
This deals damage every 0.25s, and can thus can deal damage 8 times.
This also adds one Positive Spark to her Cylinder, which is used for her Ultimate cannon.
Using one of each: Sparkdrive fires a beam in front of her, dealing strong Electric-damage that can pierce and hit to up to 2 targets.
This also adds one Neutral Spark to her Cylinder, which is used for her Ultimate cannon.

As per her Deiwos' passive effect above, all of this counts as Standard Skill damage - none of it counts as Ultimate Skill damage.

With her Standard Skills Neuronic effects, using her Standard Skill twice in a row throws out four cubes instead of 2, doubling damage, and using her Ultimate Skill twice in a row throws out three traps instead of one - the two extra traps are placed behind the original one, forming a triangle. This can increase damage against large enemies, but against small enemies who are only hit by one trap it might not increase damage at all.

Note that whilst Ionic Impact effects are triggered by clicking the fire button, they do not count as a shot - they count as [Standard] Skill damage and [Standard] Skill use only.

Ultimate Skill Cannon

When Sparkdrive has at least 6 sparks (or 3 with her Neuronic) in total (any combination of Positive, Negative, or Neutral, in any order) she can hold her Ultimate to pull out a big cannon and then hold down the fire button to fire the sparks from it, dealing their respective effects.

Sparkdrive gets a significant (+50%) ATK boost while using the cannon, and with her second Neuronic she also gains a 50% damage reduction effect whilst firing the launcher.

As per her Deiwos' passive effect above, all of this counts as Standard Skill damage - none of it counts as Ultimate Skill damage.

Note that her Sparks are fired in FIFO order.

Note also that Sparkdrive will ride the cannon, which moves at her standard walking (not running) speed, and Sparkdrive cannot dodge whilst riding the cannon.

Support Skill

Fritia creates a PBAoE that deals Thermal and Electrical damage for 8s. Each hit can damage up to 3 enemies.
The 20s cooldown means that the dps of this skill is low, and Sparkdrive is not a strong support.

Weapon

Sparkdrive wants an Electric-damage pistol.
Her ideal weapon is:

Magnetic Flow
+18-30% Electrical DMG.
Whilst using her Ult, Sparkdrive gains 1 Sparkdrive for every 3 Ionic Impact attacks performed during her ult.
The type gained is the type most recently fired.
These extra shots are added to the end of the cylinder - they aren't fired immediately after the Spark they copy.
This basically means that Fritia gets to fire her 3rd and 6th Ionic Impact again as her cannons final shots.
With this buff, Fritia can fire the cannon a maximum of 8 times during her ult.
These extra shots proc her Logistics set, allowing her to maintain her Logistics buffs throughout her ultimate.
Provided Sparkdrive doesn't get interrupted or CC-ed a lot, this makes her logistics buffs functionally permanent effects.
Sparkdrive also gets a huge +80% Standard Skill DMG for 3s after using her Standard Skill.
Remember that both her Standard Skill and her Ultimate both count as her Standard Skill, so this is basically a permanent effect.
Whilst that +80% DMG bonus is in effect, using her Standard Skill again will refresh its duration and cause enemies to take 20% more Skill DMG from Sparkdrive.
If played optimally, this is basically a permanent effect.

Note that the T2 version of Magnetic Flow doesn't increase the +80% Skill Damage buff or the 20% more Skill DMG taken debuff.
I suspect this is a bug, but it is possible that it might not be.
Not affecting these two buffs mean that Magnetic Flow performs extremely similarly between T1 and T2, to the point that there is very little point upgrading the weapon to T2.

Note further that Sparkdrive getting an extra spark for every 3 Ionic Impacts done during her ult means that you want to be using her ult with at least 5 Sparks in the cylinder:
Shots in Cylinder when Sparkdrive uses her ult: 3 4 5 6
Total shots her ult can fire with her 5* weapon: 4 5 7 8
Sparkdrive gets a huge ATK boost whilst using her cannon, so you really do want to be using the cannon with 6 Sparks in it, but she still gets extra shots if she has at least 5, so 6 is ideal, 5 is good, and 3 or 4 are not nearly as good.

Magnetic Flow is Sparkdrive's best weapon by a vast margin.
If you don't have Magnetic Flow, then Sparkdrive's next best weapon is Pure Verdure, which is the signature 4* weapon of Vidya - Agave.
Pure Verdure gives a stacking Skill DMG bonus each time the equipping operative deals Skill damage to the same target, which is all Sparkdrive does.
Pure Verdure's Skill DMG buffs are cleared if the weapon is actually fired, but as a pure Skill-DMG operative Sparkdrive should ideally never fire, so that's not an issue.
Again, using an Ionic Impact effect is triggered by clicking the fire button, but it doesn't count as a shot, and hence doesn't remove Pure Verdure's buffs.

If you don't have either Magnetic Flow or Pure Verdure, then use whatever pistol you have that's the highest level or gives the highest ATK or Skill Damage bonus - Fritia doesn't ever shhot her gun, so the actual stats of the weapon don't matter at all, only its ATK or Skill Damage buffs.

For Weapon Parts Sparkdrive wants ATK.
Note that since Sparkdrive is a Skill-DMG operative who never fires her gun, getting the +1 Ammo Capacity from the Bold Type Magazine isn't useful, and can be skipped.

Logistics

Squad

Use Singularity squad, as it's her signature and best squad.

Singularity gives her a stacking bonus each time she gets a Spark:
1 stack: +20% ATK
3 stacks: +30% Standard Skill DMG (again, all of her damage is Standard Skill damage)
6 stacks: +10% Damage and healing of off-field operatives by 10%.
These last 5s, but getting a new Spark resets their duration.
With her 5* weapon though these effects are essentially permanent effects.

If you don't have Singularity, then until she can get Singularity squad you will want to give Sparkdrive either:

Twilight squad, which reduces the enemies Resistance by 16% for 5 seconds after damaging them with an Active Skill or Aux Unit.
Since all of Fritia's damage comes from Active Skills, she can maintain this permanently.
Twilight's 2-piece bonus is +24% Skill DMG, which is very good for Sparkdrive.
Mingyi squad, which gives +1% ATK for 3s every time they deal Electrical-damage, with all stacks refreshing in duration after getting a new stack.
Provided Sparkdrive doesn't get interrupted, this is basically a permanent effect in combat, and is pretty strong.
Mingyi's 2-piece effect is +Ballistic damage, which doesn't affect Sparkdrive, and Mingyi isn't as good as Twilight overall.
Mingyi is also somewhat finicky, as Sparkdrive missing her skill or getting interrupted a few times can cause her to lose the bonuses and have to start from 0, which is bad.

Twilight is better than Mingyi, although Mingyi is still decent. Neither are anywhere near as good as Singularity though.

Stats

For basic stats Sparkdrive wants
+10.0% ATK
and
+106 Alignment Index
For the Special talent, Sparkdrive wants +8.5% Electrical Damage

ATK to boost her damage.
Electrical Damage to boost her damage.
Alignment Index translates to extra Standard Skill DMG.
A max-roll of +106 Alignment Index gives +5.3% Standard Skill DMG.
(Which again, affects her ult as well, so it affects all of her damage.)

Skills can't crit, so crit mods are useless for Sparkdrive.
Sparkdrive can't heal or create shields.
Sparkdrive doesn't and can't use S-Energy or U-Energy, so S-Energy and U-Energy Regen mods are literally useless to her.

Sparkdrive thus doesn't really have any cope stats - just get ATK, Alignment Index, and Electric Damage.

Auctus Drive

With A1, after Sparkdrive equips her ult cannon, her skills ignores 10% of the enemies DEF for 5s.
If spam-fired with her 5* weapon equipped, shooting all the shots from her ult takes around 5 seconds.
This basically means that her Spark shots from her Ult cannon ignore 10% of the enemies DEF, but her regular Sparks don't.
This won't affect the damage from her regular [non-ult-cannon] Sparks, so it's not a major damage boost on-average.
It's an ok damage boost, but nothing special or even massively significant.
With A2, the Ionic Impact skill from her Standard Skill increases the Skill DMG the enemy takes by 12% for 4s.
This is a very nice damage boost, but it doesn't affect the Sparks created from tapping her Ultimate Skill or the beams from using her Standard+Ultimate skill, however you can add an Ionic Impact from her Standard Skill to her cylinder in order to proc this A2 effect to increase the damage of her other Sparks.
If combining with her beam attack, you'll want to add the Standard Skill Spark to the first slot in the cylinder so it buffs the damage of all her other Sparks.
If combining with her ult AoE, then you'll want to add it to position 2 in the cylinder.
With A3, the Ionic Impact skill from her Ult+Ult Skill deals AoE Electrical damage and knocks targets into the air, and then deals 9 more instances of Electric dmg.
This is a massive damage boost, but it doesn't affect the Sparks created from tapping her Standard Skill, or the beams from using her Standard+Ultimate skill, although this does increase the single-target dps of her Ult+Ult AoE regardless.
This increases the damage of her Ult Sparks to enough of a degree that they are comparable in damage to her other Spark types for single-target damage, meaning that her AoE Ult Sparks should be your default Spark, and you should only use the other Spark types is absolutely necessary, as the high damage and AoE of her Ult Sparks make them the best choice in most scenarios.
With A4, each time Sparkdrive gains a Spark, she gets +5% Skill DMG for 5s, up to +30%.
This is a very nice damage bonus.
The extra sparks given by her 5* weapon do proc this, so if played optimally it's basically a permanent effect.

As an Auctus Drive operative, you'll likely have either all of Sparkdrive's Auctus Drives, or none of them.

Sparkdrive's Auctus Drives increase her damage by a good amount, but that's all - they don't change how she is played or give her any QoL effects.

Note that her Standard+Ultimate beam attack isn't directly buffed in the same way that her A2 buffs her Standard+Standard orb or her A3 buffs her Ult+Ult AoE.
With all of her Auctus Drives, her beam is still her highest dps option for single-target damage, but it's only a little bit better than her Ult+Ult AoE.

Good Supports for Sparkdrive

Sparkdrive wants ATK, Electrical, and Skill Damage buffs, as well as to debuff the enemies Electrical Resistance and DEF.
As such, good supports for her are:

Vidya - Celestial Swan
Vidya massive reduces the enemies DEF and Resistance, and buffs the teams damage a little too.
Vidya only debuffs the damage resistance of the damage type the enemy has most recently received.
As such, if using Celestial Swan, then make sure the other non-Vidya support isn't off-element to Fritia.
(i.e. They either deal Electric damage or do not deal damage at all).
Siris - Freefin
Freefin provides strong Skill Damage buffs that buff all of Sparkdrive's damage, making Freefin a great support for Sparkdrive.

Sparkdrive's best supports are Vidya - Celestial Swan and Siris - Freefin.
If you don't have Celestial Swan, then Sparkdrive's best supports are Siris - Freefin and Marian - Aquila.

If you don't have Celestial Swan or Freefin, then these supports also work very well with Sparkdrive:

Marian - Aquila
Aquila provides very strong generic damage buffs, which makes her an excellent support.
Aquila is off-element to Sparkdrive (Aquila constantly deals Kinetic damage), and hence can't be used alongside Celestial Swan.
Marian - Riptide
Riptide can provide good Skill Damage buffs, as well as some decent Chaos Skill Damage of her own.
Riptide is off-element to Sparkdrive (Riptide deals Chaos damage).
Riptide deals damage infrequently enough that Riptide being off-element isn't an issue in practice, even if paired with Celestial Swan.
Sparkdrive loses all the Sparks in her cylinder when she swaps off-field, so you'll want to use Riptide's Support Skill immediately after Sparkdrive empties her cylinder.

Other supports that work decently well with Sparkdrive include:

Eatchel - The Cub
A Blitzing Fangs M1 Eatchel provides healing as well as a decent ATK buff.
Not the strongest support, but still good.
Sparkdrive having very low mobility means that she can usually appreciate the healing that Eatchel provides.
Enya - Exuvia
Whilst Sparkdrive doesn't shoot anything and hence never proc's Enya's Zephyr Machine, Exuvia does provide some useful Skill Damage buffs.
Acacia - Kaguya
Kaguya is a good resistance debuffer - not nearly as strong as Vidya - Celestial Swan, but if you aren't using Vidya then Kaguya can be used as a much weaker substitute.
Kaguya deals Frost damage.
Chenxing - The Observer
Sparkdrive is a very static operative, so it's easy for her to stay in the PBAoE radius of Chenxing's drop pod for the Skill DMG buffs.
As a 4* operative Chenxing isn't very strong, but if you don't have any 5* supports yet then Chexing is the best 4* support for Sparkdrive.
