Nita - Hands

If you want to try her out, Nita - Hands is available as a Trial Operative in Story Mission 3-6 ( Main Story // Legacy // Containment Zone - Entering Aleph // Acquire Runes )

Hands' skills only have melee range, and her shotgun has a short range as well, and staying in melee range can give her poor survivability and difficulty against mobile enemies, but Nita's high shield generation can give her good overall survivability, and her standard skill gives her good AoE that can clear groups well.
She also works well with two of the best 4* supports.
Nita is a good albeit potentially fragile and short-ranged 4* main dps.

Nita's standard skill has melee range, so you'll want to stay near enemies at all times.

Specifics

Standard Skill

Nita deals PBAoE Kinetic damage 5 times, and pulls the enemies towards her.

With its first Neuronic buff, each target hit also grants Nita a small shield for 5s, which is a nice survivability buff.

With its second Neuronic buff, each target hit also reduces the skills cooldown by 5%, up to 5 times.
This requires Nita to have a Kinetic-damage weapon, but that's not overly difficult.

This skill can deal good damage against groups, and dealing damage 5 times means it's ok against single-targets too.

Ultimate Skill

Nita deals PBAoE kinetic damage.
Targets very near to Nita take 3x the damage.

With its first Neuronic buff, it also stuns its targets for 5s.

With its second Neuronic buff, it also deals even more damage the closer enemies are.

Overall, the damage can be high if used at point-blank range, but the high U-Energy cost and cooldown of 80 mean that its dps isn't overly high.

Support Skill

Nita leaps to the target, dealing Kinetic damage to the target an all enemies along the route.

With its Neuronic buffs, it also gives a +50% movement speed buff for 5s, which is a strong manoeuvrability buff, and a decent shield as well, which is a nice survivability buff.

This skill isn't overly strong (unless you can hit a lot of targets) and has a decently long cooldown of 15s.

Weapon

Tiny Grains
Tiny Grains is Nita's best weapon.
Nita spending basically all combat in melee range of enemies means that Tiny Grains' damage taken debuff is easy to proc for her.
Precious Baby
A Kinetic Weapon, but also gives Shield Construction Efficiency, which is good as Nita makes a lot of shields.

Full Alert
The ATK buff is nice, and having extra DEF is nice too due to Nita spending most of her time in melee range.

Other Kinetic shotguns also work fine, but Nita really does want a Kinetic-damage weapon.

For weapon Parts, Nita wants maximum ATK.

Manifestation

M1 causes her standard skill to deal extra damage, plus more damage based on how much Shield Nita has.
This doesn't proc the Neuronics buffs, thus preventing exponential shield scaling, but it's a nice damage buff.
M2 gives the Iron Body effect to the shield from her standard skill and support skill.
This is a nice survivability buff, but doesn't increase Nita's damage at all.
M3 gives Nita another shield for 5s when she uses her standard skill, which also gets the Iron Body effect from her M2.
Again, a nice survivability buff.
Nita's M1 means that this does increase her standard skill if you can use it in the 5s before the shield expires, but Nita generally won't have that much cooldown.
As such, this is a survivability buff, but isn't usually a damage buff.
M4 gives +1 level to her standard skill, increasing its damage by around 15%.
An ok damage buff, but nothing special.
M5 gives Nita more shield the lower her HP is, up to 15% more shield when she reaches 20% HP.
This is a good survivability buff, but again, doesn't increase her damage.

Overall, Nita's Manifestations are very defensive, and don't increase her damage by that much.

Being a 4* operative, you'll get all her Manifestation buffs eventually.

Logistics

Hands is a 4* operative and is completely outclassed by 5* operatives.
As such, please don't waste logistics re-rolls on her.
Similarly, if you have the resources to get Nita a new logistics set, then you should put that investment towards your 5* operatives if you have any.

Nita's best logistics squad are

Amano-Iwato
Gives ballistic damage, and a stacking ADS ballistic damage buff.
Since Nita spends most of her time in combat in melee range, being in ADS isn't needed or even ideal much of the time, but Amano-Iwato is her best damage buff.
Twilight
Reduces the targets resistance after dealing damage with a skill.
Twilight also gives 24% skill damage, buffing her standard skill.
Twilight is one of Nita's best logistics squads if you did want to use her as a support operative too.

Dharma
+24% Ballistic damage and +46% ballistic damage for 5s after using a standard skill.
This translates to a lot of extra ballistic damage for Nita, but doesn't buff her skill damage at all.
Koffman
Koffman gives extra Shield Acquisition Efficiency, which improves her damage, as well as giving her ballistic damage and reduced damage taken when she has a shield.
Since Nita generates a lot of shields, these are quite consistent bonuses.
Koffman is not the largest damage increase, but is a good survivability boost too.
Thebes
+2% ATK for 5s after a skill hits a target, up to 20 stacks.
Nita's standard skill hitting 5 times means that against groups she can stack Thebes' buff very well, but Thebes is much less effective against single-targets.
The 5s buff also doesn't last long enough for the buffs from one skill cast to affect any subsequent skill casts.

Stats:
+10.0% ATK
+8.5% Kinetic Damage

ATK and Kinetic damage to buff her damage.

Alignment Index give Nita more Shield Construction Efficiency, which is a defensive buff that she really doesn't need.

As such, Nita is generally better off going with Skill Haste in order to be able to spam her standard skill more.
This also allows her to generate shield more frequently, improving her survivability too.

Given that Nita is a 4* operative and 4* operatives aren't worth wasting re-rolls on, it's fine to just go for ATK only, or to just give her a logistics set and not worry about what stats is has - you'll stop using Nita very quickly anyway once you start getting 5* operatives.

Good Teammates for Nita - Hands

Fritia - Little Sunshine + Chenxing - The Observer is a good combo for Nita, as Fritia buffs Nita's ballistic damage, whereas Chenxing buffs her skill damage.
Chenxing also provides some healing to Nita.
Chenxing isn't as good of a healer as Yao - Quiet Quitter, but since Nita creates so many shields Chenxing is usually fine.
